BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University Physical Therapy Department will sponsor a meet and greet with “Boston” Bill Hansbury 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29 in McClelland Dining Facility as part of the Community in Motion weekend event. At 7:00 p.m. a check will be presented for the fundraising proceeds.
A light meal will be provided on a first come basis. The event is free and open to the public but donations are welcomed. Hansbury will also lead the Community in Motion 5K Run/Walk 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, beginning on the SBU Bolivar campus in front of the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center. Hansbury is the founder of the Boston Bill Foundation which raises funds to help provide amputee with prosthetics.
