BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University Physical Therapy department invites the public to the Community in Motion 5K Run/Walk beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 30 on the SBU Bolivar campus. Boston Bill Hansbury, founder of the Boston Bill Foundation, will lead the race.
Pre-registration fee is $15 and day-of registration is $20. A free Family Fun Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Other activities of the day will include health promotion booths, Wii Fit stations, and prizes. Children are also welcomed to participate in an art contest, pumpkin decorating and jump castle. Proceeds will benefit the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, the Boston Bill Foundation, and the SBU Physical Therapy department.
