SBU Hosts Bill Hendricks for Psalm 15 Lecture

BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University College of Business and Computer Science (COBACS) recently featured Bill Hendricks, president of The Giftedness Center, for this semester’s Psalm 15 Lecture.

The topic of his lecture was giftedness and respect. Hendricks also spoke at a luncheon attended by prominent business leaders of the community as well as outstanding students from COBACS and COBACS faculty. He also conducted a faculty development opportunity.
Hendricks is president of The Giftedness Center, a Dallas-based consulting firm specializing in organizational effectiveness and individual career guidance. Hendricks is the author or coauthor of nineteen books, including “Your Work Matters to God,” “The Word in Life Study Bible,” “The Power of Uniqueness,” and “The Light That Never Dies: A Story of Hope In the Shadows of Grief.” His writings have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Dallas Morning News, Christianity Today, and numerous other publications.
He holds an undergraduate degree in English from Harvard University, a master of science in mass communications from Boston University, and a master of arts in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a board member for Pine Cove, Inc., serves on the steering committee for an international consortium called the Theology of Work Project, and is an active member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. He is the proud father of three grown daughters, Brittany, Kristin, and Amy. He and his wife Lynn live in Dallas.
