SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - St. John's College of Nursing and Health Sciences of Southwest Baptist University pinning and commencement ceremony will be held Thursday, May 19, at 7:00 p.m., at Second Baptist Church in Springfield. One hundred and seventeen nursing graduates will be pinned and receive diplomas.
Special music presentations by graduates will include a piano performance Variations on the Canon, by Pachelbel, performed by Shane Logan. Amber Ennis will perform Go Light Your World, by Chris Rice.
Laura Smith will be speaking for the ASN graduating class and Michelle Boswell will be representing the BSN graduating class.
The pinning ceremony is the culmination of the journey from nursing student to practicing professional nurse.
Friends, family and the community are invited to attend. Second Baptist Church is located at 3111 E. Battlefield in Springfield.
