SBU Collecting Items for Joplin Tornado Victims

BOLIVAR, Mo.Southwest Baptist University is collecting non-perishable food items, water, blankets, clothes and toiletries in conjunction with Convoy of Hope for the tornado victims in Joplin.

Please drop off all items by noon, Friday, May 27, at the Master of Business Administration lobby in the Taylor Building on the Bolivar campus.

For those who have a truck or access to a truck that would be interested in assisting with the distribution of donated items to the Joplin community, please contact Shelly Francka at 417-328-2000 or tfrancka@sbuniv.edu.

SBU President Pat Taylor said, “We will continue to pray for the Joplin area and other communities affected by the outbreak of tornadoes.”
