SBU Mabee Chapel & Pike Auditorium Renovation Dedication

BOLIVAR, Mo. –Southwest Baptist University will hold a dedication service in the newly renovated  Mabee Chapel in Pike Auditorium on May 9, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. on the Bolivar campus. The public is invited to attend.

Theresa Daniels, director of donor development at SBU will present a welcome followed by Dr. C. Pat Taylor, president of SBU, presenting the history of Mabee Chapel and Pike Auditorium.

Mark Rains, chairman of the SBU Board of Trustees will present a trustee/alumni/ donor response and Rob Harris, dean of students, will present a student response. Raymond Tullius, Vice Chairman of The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation also will be speaking at the dedication service.

Vocal selections will be performed by Dr. Charles Graham and SBU’s Higher Ground will present a song of dedication. Dr. Rodney Reeves, dean of the Courts Redford College of Theology and Ministry will give a dedication prayer for the newly renovated chapel.
