BOLIVAR, Mo. – Southwest Baptist University’s President C. Pat Taylor and First Lady Judy Taylor will host an open house for the newly renovated SBU Health Sciences, Davis Family Physical Therapy Center on Monday, September 26. The open house is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. All members of the SBU family and community are invited to attend.
SBU President Pat Taylor said, “The current physical therapy space on the main campus allowed for only 40 doctoral students to be admitted each year for a total enrollment of 120. Now the program will be able to admit 80 students per year, which will increase the total number of doctoral students to 240 after three years.”
Plans for the building renovation were designed by GHN Architects in consultation with the SBU physical therapy faculty. The Killian Group handled the construction. The building’s current tenant, Dollar General, will remain in the building.
