SBU Literary Artist Series Presents Bryan Norman

BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artists Series at Southwest Baptist University will present Bryan Norman, associate publisher for Thomas Nelson Non-Fiction Trade Group, on March 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the Jester Learning & Performance Center, room 273, on the Bolivar campus. Admission is free and the public is invited.

An informal question and answer session will be held at the end of Norman’s presentation about editing in the publishing world.

Bryan Norman joined Thomas Nelson Publishers in 2004 after receiving his Master of Arts in English literature and language at the University of Colorado where he graduated with honors. Norman previously worked as associate acquisitions editor and senior editor of the Non-Fiction Trade Group. Since his employment with Thomas Nelson, he has worked closely with best-selling authors, such as Charles Swindoll, Charles Stanley, John Eldredge, Sheila Walsh, and John MacArthur. Norman lives in Nashville, Tenn., with his wife, Suzanne (Whisler), and son, Miles.
