BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Southwest Baptist University Concert Choir and Bolivar Community Chorus will present their fall 2011 concert on Tuesday, November 29, at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
A new composition scored for orchestra, piano, and choir by composer Michael Cox titled “Te Deum” will feature the SBU Chamber Orchestra and selected wind players. In addition, works by SBU composer Dr. Renee Waters, as well as Joseph Martin, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, John Rutter, Felix Mendelssohn, György Orbán, and Lloyd Pfautsch will also be performed.
The concert will conclude the evening with a few Christmas selections. Admission is free and open to the public.
