SBU to host open forum on Medicaid
expansion
BOLIVAR, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University is hosting an open forum for
discussion of Medicaid expansion from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the
Wheeler Science Center, Room 101, on SBU’s Bolivar campus.
The forum will include
explanation of some changes associated with the Affordable Care Act and what
Medicaid expansion offers Missouri, as well as open discussion.
The forum is jointly
sponsored by SBU, the Missouri Association for Social Welfare and the
University of Missouri–Kansas City.
After entering the SBU campus
from Springfield Avenue, turn right. Wheeler Science Center is the second
building on the right, with parking available on the north side of the
building.
