SBU Music Professor’s Composition Performed in Carnegie Hall

BOLIVAR, Mo. – Dr. Renee Waters, professor of music at Southwest Baptist University, attended a performance of her original composition, "I Will Exalt You" (SATB chorus and piano), at Carnegie Hall in New York, on Friday evening, May 27, 2011. The concert featured five choral ensembles from the United States and Canada, as part of the Choral Spotlight Series sponsored by MidAmerica Productions.
Dr. Waters' composition was performed by the Willard High School Chorus (Willard, MO), under the direction of Mark Lawley.
