Delta Mu Delta is the national honor society in business administration. Each year, nearly 300,000 students receive either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business—but only about 5,000 are elected to membership in Delta Mu Delta.
DMD was founded in 1913 to promote, recognize and reward scholarship in business subjects. Candidates for DMD must be in the top 20% of their junior, senior or master’s classes. Since 1992, only business programs accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) can establish DMD chapters.
