SBU Director of Safety and Security Receives Professional Certification

BOLIVAR, Mo. – Southwest Baptist University’s Director of Safety and Security Mark Grabowski recently earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) title from the American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS).

“The CPP is the most rigorous, prestigious, recognized professional designation in the international security community,” said Grabowski, “and I am honored to be one of only a few individuals with a CPP in Southwest Missouri.


ASIS is the largest organization for security professionals, with more than 37,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, governmental entities, and the public.
