BOLIVAR, Mo. – With the retirement of Rick Juhlin at the end of March, Southwest Baptist University announced the hiring of a new controller. Tara Parson joined the SBU family on March 7, 2012, and has had the opportunity to work with Juhlin during this past month.
Parson is a former employee of Great Southern Bank. She is a CPA and served with BKD, SBU’s auditors, for more than six years. “We are thankful to have Tara become part of the accounting team and are looking forward to her service to SBU for many years to come,” said Vice President for Administration Ron Maupin.
Parson is a graduate of SBU’s College of Business and Computer Science in accounting.
